π Getting Started
What is Swift SOS?
Swift SOS is a critical event and emergency management platform designed to protect employees, manage incidents, and enable real-time communication across locations. It includes geolocation tools, panic alarms, and organizational messagingβall accessible from web and mobile interfaces.
How Do I Set Up Swift SOS for My Organization?
Admins can onboard through the Swift SOS dashboard by registering buildings, creating employee groups, defining incident types, and uploading relevant templates or maps.
System Requirements
- Web: Modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)
- Coming Soon - Mobile: iOS 13+ or Android 9+
π¨ Incident Management
Internal Incidents
Go to Internal Incident tile located on the left of the screen
Provide information:
Title (e.g. "Water Leak β Ground Floor")
Incident Type (select or add from Settings)
Description (import a template to populate this quickly)
(Optional) Choose a Threat Level (can be updated during an incident)
(Optional) add Media (images, video, audio, documents)
Choose affected Areas
Choose whether to Inform all personnel in the incident areas (can be automated via Settings)
(Optional) Include additional Groups or Individuals to be notified
Exclude by (Do Not Disturb, Holiday settings)
Save to notify users
Active Incidents
- Visible when at least one incident is live
- Shows: Title, Type, Created By, Status (Pending/Active), Subscribed Users
Click Actions to:
- View full details
- Communicate via SMS, Voice, Email, Chat
- Stop incident
Asset Management (During Incidents)
- Track reported assets (lost, damaged, etc.)
- Each asset includes case number, reporter name, resolution date, comments
π§ Follow My Journey
- Real-time journey tracking tool for employees
- Employees request journeys via mobile app (includes destination, duration)
Options:
- Auto-approve (enabled by Admin)
- SOC Approval (Pending state)
- Monitored via dashboard map + chat
- Alerts for missed check-ins, disconnects, deviations
- All journeys are logged for audit
π’ Building & Personnel Management
View Managed Buildings
- View and edit all company buildings
Add new buildings with:
- Name, address, zipcode, city, country
- Upload image (optional)
- Define geofences using polygon tool on map
- Add service contacts (emergency numbers, utility providers)
- Add building floors with floor maps
Building Admins
- Assigned via dashboard
- Manage building alerts, geofencing, floor plans, and emergency contacts
Manage Personnel
- Create employee groups
- Add/remove employees via Settings
- Upload CSV to bulk add/delete

Message Types
- Voice, SMS, Email, App Notification, Slack/WhatsApp, Swift Chat
Sending Options
- Send Now, Send Later, Set Cadence
- Cadence includes title, interval, message threshold
Polling Questions
- Text: Freeform responses
- Radio: Single-select answers (e.g., "Do you need assistance?")
- Checkbox: Multi-select options
- Actions: Link response to new or existing incident
π Panic Alarm
- Displays active panic alerts from mobile app
- Shows: Name, Email, Employee Code, Alarm Type (Normal or Reverse PIN)
- Reverse PIN: Triggers silent secondary alert while canceling visible one
- SOC can view map, communicate via Swift Chat
- Stop alert using admin PIN (Reverse triggers hidden alarm)

Check-In Feature
- Schedule regular employee check-ins
- If missed, viewer is alerted
- Viewer is notified (15-min delay possible)
- Check-in window = 10 minutes before/after scheduled time
- Missed check-ins require late reason
Dashboard shows:
- Green: Confirmed
- Amber: Late
- Red: Missed
- Blue: Upcoming
- Groups can be saved/edited

Departments
- Used for incident groupings and targeted communications
- Can be added/edited/deleted
Designations
- Specific roles (e.g., HR Manager, IT Support)
- Used for filtering and communication

- Pre-saved templates for fast incident messaging
- Template Types define purpose (e.g., Emergency Notification, System Alert)
- Templates appear in incident history
- Can be edited or deleted

- SOC dashboard shows real-time incident and journey activity
- Can enable Auto-Accept for journey requests
- Use simplified interface to prioritize critical responses
